October Show
Betsie Richardson & Toby Davis

Capitol Contemporary Gallery is pleased to announce new exhibitions for the month of October— Farm to Table by Betsie Richardson and Windows II by Toby Davis, featuring ceramics by Susan Rooke.
Betsie Richardson presents new oil paintings that bring attention to the admirable ethics and visual exquisiteness of locally-grown, farm-fresh foods.Toby says, "The [window] scenes are the culmination of two worlds colliding, an abstract smashing together of reality on both sides of the glass - a breakdown of “the matrix” that can’t tell where your focus is, so it just throws the kitchen sink into one scene and lets you sort it out." They are odd, abstract, and at the same time beautiful.
Please join us at the gallery on First Thursday, October 6th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. The artists will be in attendance, and we will be serving wine by Vizcaya Winery. The show is free, open to the public, and runs through October 31st.
